At SEDCO we have been busy developing the way that we interact with our customers to ensure seamless interactions and continued high quality outcomes. Customers have access to the national SEDCO network and local expertise and support through a national point of contact from which we co-ordinate our response.

SEDCO provides service to both SEDCO and non SEDCO systems. SEDCO service technicians are fully qualified to service SEDCO Systems and a range of other communications equipment and low voltage equipment.
Calls logged via our national 1300 number go through to our national network of service technicians.


Technical support can be provided over the phone or one of our highly skilled SEDCO technicians dispatched to your facility, if required. SEDCO schedule firm times for service calls so that customers know exactly when to expect a technician at their site. SEDCO technicians attending service calls meet with the site contact before starting any work and provide a documented service report for the site contact before leaving site. Project Management

 

To ensure consistent high quality, SEDCO assigns a dedicated project supervisor who follows a documented installation process developed for each site to AS 3811 standards. This ensures your project runs to schedule.

Once full testing in line with the project schedule is completed, the project supervisor signs off to the certified standard. Following sign off, a formal hand-over is completed. The hand-over includes documentation and backups to AS3811 standards.

The information below is a guide only and SEDCO can tailor an SLA suitable for the particular needs of your organisation:

General Maintenance   
Full access to SEDCO’s support centre.
SEDCO’s support centre is manned by technicians not just call centre operators.

Guaranteed Emergency Service Response Time
The guaranteed in-person response time following a genuine service call can be negotiated for facilities.

Tailored and Flexible Agreements
Select the level of cover that is right for your facility. Options can include: equipment cover, labour cover, the frequency of preventative maintenance and any item and/or service requiring cover that is not specifically mentioned in a standard SLA.

Equipment Replacement (optional extra)
If a device cannot be repaired on-site, a replacement may be introduced to lessen downtime. If the device is un-repairable, a replacement will be provided for the remaining term of the agreement in place.

Preventative Maintenance
SEDCO Direct will perform preventative maintenance as part of the service level agreement. This will include labour and travel.

Record Keeping and Logbooks
SEDCO Direct shall maintain complete and accurate records in accordance with AS 3811 standard, on behalf of the facility.

Free Software Updates and Firmware Upgrades
Includes SEDCO software application updates and firmware upgrades for SEDCO devices to optimise operability, once site is brought up to current standard.

Spare parts
SEDCO Direct commits to maintaining a supply of available spare parts for a period of at least ten years after SEDCO system installation.

Training
Upon request, SEDCO Direct can provide technical training to nominated representatives. 
Training includes certification for your in-house engineers to provide general maintenance and support of the selected SEDCO system(s).

SEDCO Academy
Support staff working within a facility serviced by SEDCO, are able to attend training sessions held by the SEDCO Academy for free.
